About Sera

Sera Shearer is a production manager and designer currently based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She is a graduate of the Theatre Arts MFA program at Utah State University and is proud to be part of the vibrant creative community in Wisconsin.

Prior to attending graduate school, Sera received her BS in Entertainment Design and Technology at Eastern Michigan University, where her primary areas of emphasis were scenic design and stage management. Her professional credits vary from stage management to props design to scenic design with companies such as the Encore Musical Theatre Company, Michigan Shakespeare Festival, Salt Lake Acting Company, Lyric Repertory Company, and Third Avenue Playworks.

Sera is most passionate about teaching, and currently serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor of Scene Design and Production Manager at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay.
